Do you want to make a real difference to the lives of those in substance-use recovery?
Opportunity: Substance Misuse Practitioner
Join our Offender Health Care Group at HMP Lowdham Grange, a Category B Prison, and contribute to impactful substance misuse recovery work.
We seek a dynamic, experienced Substance Misuse Practitioner to be part of our innovative and dedicated team. You will receive effective management, guidance, supervision, and training opportunities to support your career development.
Note: Applicants are responsible for their DBS check costs, which will be deducted from salary (£26.40 standard or £54.40 enhanced). Enrolment in the DBS Update Service is encouraged, with an annual fee of £16.
Your role involves providing high-quality patient care, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating interventions for individuals with substance misuse issues, aligned with harm reduction and recovery goals.
Working with a caseload of often complex patients, you will deliver innovative interventions to support recovery and improve health and social outcomes. Your work will contribute to reducing re-offending and supporting broader drug strategies.
