HGV Class 1 Driver - Part-time

People Solutions are looking for a part-time Class 1 Driver to work for our client in Tamworth.

If you are Class 1 Driver looking for extra hours, flexible working or just looking a few days a week, this is perfect for you.

Shifts:

* Friday - Sunday
* Day shifts - early starts

Rates of pay:

* Basic: £16.00 per hour
* Friday: £19.50 per hour
* Sunday: £20.50 per hour

Day-to-day duties:

As a Class 1 Driver, your duties will include (but not be limited to):

* Carrying out RDC or brewery deliveries (curtain-side, no handball required)
* Operating and driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from NDCs and hubs
* Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
* Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly
* Adhering to traffic laws and regulations
* Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
* Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
* Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo when required
