My client, a well-respected, diverse Multidisciplinary Consultancy is currently searching for Principal Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to join their team of expert engineers, based in the multicultural city of Manchester. Essential Criteria: - A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Geography, Environmental Management, or similar discipline - Extensive experience within drainage, flood risk, and flood mitigation, including experience with design guidance to align with regulated industry standards - Demonstrable experience in managing projects - Experience liaising with a range of public and private sector clients, and an acute commercial awareness - Good working knowledge of software packages, including MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage, AutoCAD, QGIS (and other GIS software), etc. It would also benefit applicants for the role of Principal Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to possess the following: - Professional Body Chartership (or actively working to attain Chartered Status) - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills - The ability to prioritise well, with good time management abilities In your new role of Principal Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant, you will join a team of well-respected experts in the field, with extensive opportunities to develop your career through Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
