An established and well-regarded property consultancy is seeking a Residential Surveyor to join its London-based Valuation & Advisory team. Applications are welcomed from Surveyors through to Associate Director level. Candidates who are close to completing their APC will also be considered.
This role focuses on delivering high-quality valuation and advisory work across individual residential assets. The team specialises in single houses and apartments, small residential investment buildings, and other one-off residential instructions.
The majority of work comprises loan security valuations, alongside advisory instructions for acquisition, tax, accounts, and internal decision-making purposes.

Key Responsibilities
* Undertake valuations of individual residential properties including flats, houses and small investment blocks for a range of purposes (lending, acquisition, tax, accounts and internal reporting).
* Carry out detailed property inspections, including measurements, photography and collection of relevant site and tenure information.
* Analyse comparable evidence and local market data to support valuation conclusions.
* Prepare clear, accurate and well-reasoned valuation reports in accordance with RICS standards.
* Manage multiple instructions simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
* Maintain and develop strong client relationships to support repeat business.
* Ensure compliance with RICS Valuation Global Standards (Red Book) and internal quality procedures.
* Maintain complete, auditable and compliant case files.
* Keep up to date with residential market trends across London and the South East.
Candidate Profile
* MRICS qualified (or APC close to completion).
* Experience in residential valuation.
* Strong understanding of the London and South East residential markets.
* Excellent analytical and report-writing skills.
* High attention to detail and strong organisational ability.
* Confident managing multiple smaller instructions concurrently.
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and valuation databases.
