Are you passionate about turning data into information and insight to drive real-world change?
Do you want your work to influence how mental health services are planned, delivered and improved across an entire system?
Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Mental Health Information Analyst to join our Mental Health Service Development and Planning Team. This pivotal role works across Oxfordshire, BaNES, Swindon and Wiltshire at the heart of transformation, where high-quality analysis meets purpose-driven service improvement. You’ll work alongside clinicians, operational colleagues, commissioners and system partners to turn complex data into compelling insight that shapes decisions, supports change and improves outcomes for people who use mental health services.
This role is more than a technical analyst role – it’s about storytelling with data, influencing change, and helping design services that work better for people and communities.
Responsibilities
* Provide insightful, proactive and responsive analysis to support colleagues delivering service development, transformation and planning across mental health services.
* Work on high-impact priorities such as service redesign, performance improvement, demand and capacity modelling, business cases and policy-driven change.
* Bring together data from multiple sources – local, national, health, public health and social care – to build a clear picture of need, performance and opportunity.
* Translate complex analysis into clear, meaningful narratives that inform decision-making at all levels, from frontline teams to senior leaders.
* Play a key role in measuring the impact of change, helping services understand what’s working, what isn’t, and why.
You’ll be embedded within a collaborative, forward-thinking team delivering change across adult and children’s mental health services and will work closely with partners across the wider health and care system, including Integrated Care Boards, provider collaboratives, NHS England and the voluntary sector.
As a trust, we provide physical, mental health and social care for people of all ages across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Swindon, Wiltshire, Bath and Northeast Somerset. Our services are delivered at community bases, hospitals, clinics and people’s homes, delivering care as close to home as possible.
Our vision is that no matter who you are or where you are, you will tell us that you receive: “Outstanding care delivered by an outstanding team.”
Our values are: Caring, safe and excellent.
