Overview
Clinical Psychologist role at NHS Scotland. Fixed Term / Secondment to 31/03/2026. Part-time position within the Neurodevelopmental Assessment Service. The role supports children and young people with neurodevelopmental needs by contributing to assessments, feedback, and care planning.
Responsibilities
* Review assessment information gathered by the multidisciplinary team (MDT).
* Contribute to diagnostic formulation and clinical decision-making.
* Write clear, evidence-based reports with recommendations for support.
* Provide feedback to children, young people, and families in a sensitive and accessible way.
* Collaborate with colleagues across the MDT to maintain high standards of care.
About You / Qualifications
* HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist
* Expertise in the assessment and formulation of neurodevelopmental conditions.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of an MDT
* A commitment to improving access to high-quality neurodevelopmental assessments in line with national policy.
