Duties and Responsibilities
As Head Therapist, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of:
* Performing spa menu face and body treatments according to Six Senses Spa standards.
* Providing comprehensive training to all hosts, ensuring they acquire necessary skills and knowledge aligned with organizational objectives.
* Ensuring treatment rooms are stocked with supplies as per standards.
* Recommending treatments and products based on lifestyle consultations and assessment questions.
* Providing departmental orientation to newly recruited hosts.
* Evaluating operations and procedures, suggesting improvements to Spa Management.
* Requesting and logging stock of supplies for treatment rooms.
* Providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service to guests at all times.
* Maintaining cleanliness, safety, and hygiene of the Spa and treatment rooms.
* Upholding Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation, maintaining and exceeding performance benchmarks.
* Strictly adhering to LQA standards and guest comments.
Qualifications
To fulfill the role of Head Therapist, candidates must have the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role within luxury hotels or spas, including:
* A high school diploma or equivalent, with at least 3 years of proven experience in luxury spas and health clubs. A hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized institution is preferred.
* Knowledge of anatomy and physiology, massage therapy, and beauty therapy, with certifications such as NVQ, ITEC, or CIDESCO.
* Understanding of various beauty products, aesthetic appliances, their specifications, and uses. Knowledge of facial, nail, or other beauty technology is required.
* Fluent in English; additional languages are preferred.
