Role Overview
The SCS Environment & Sustainability team is supporting the construction phase of the HS2 Main Works Civils Contract across the London area, providing strategic environmental leadership to meet client, programme and joint venture objectives.
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Manager with a strong background in waste management to take responsibility for environmental compliance and performance at Willesden Euro Terminal (WET). WET is a Non-Hazardous Waste Transfer Station, operating under an Environment Agency Bespoke Waste Management Permit, receiving tunnel arisings by conveyor and transferring material via rail to disposal facilities.
The successful candidate will act as the Technically Competent Manager (COCT) under the WAMITAB scheme, as required by the Environment Agency permit, and will play a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance, operational excellence and environmental best practice on a nationally significant infrastructure project.
Key Responsibilities
