Teacher of English - North Yorkshire
We are seeking a passionate and committed English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school community. The successful candidate will be an inspiring classroom practitioner who can deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality English lessons that meet the needs of all learners
* Promote a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages student progress
* Assess, track, and report on student achievement and contribute to intervention strategies
* Participate in departmental planning, enrichment activities, and whole-school initiatives
* Maintain high standards of behaviour and discipline in line with school policiesWork collaboratively with colleagues and support the ethos and values of the school
Person Specification:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A degree in English or a related discipline
* A proven ability to teach English at Key Stages 3 and 4
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A reflective approach to teaching and a desire to continually develop professional practice
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students
