Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Petrol Station Attendant to provide excellent customer service at our busy petrol station. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, managing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organised environment.
Duties
* Greet customers warmly and assist with their needs in a courteous manner
* Operate the cash register, handle payments accurately, and issue receipts
* Maintain the cleanliness of the shop area
* Restock shelves with merchandise and ensure products are well-presented for upselling opportunities
* Manage stock levels and assist with merchandising displays to attract customers
* Enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
* Handle phone enquiries professionally using proper phone etiquette
* Support the organisation of daily tasks to ensure smooth station operations
Skills
* Fluency in English
* Strong communication skills with an emphasis on friendly customer interaction
* Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
* Organisational skills to manage stock levels and maintain a tidy workspace
* Time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods
* Merchandising experience to optimise product displays and promote sales opportunities
* Upselling skills to increase sales of store products and services
* Excellent phone etiquette when dealing with customer inquiries over the phone
