Sounds great, what will I be doing?
The Head of Corporate services is responsible for ensuring the effective management of the charity's estate, the procurement of goods and services, and the maintenance of high standards through ISO certification and compliance frameworks. A key part of the role is safeguarding the organisation's people and premises by ensuring robust Health and Safety compliance across all sites. This position ensures that the organisation operates safely, efficiently, and sustainably in line with regulatory requirements, best practice, and the charity's mission.
What do I need to bring with me?
You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. You don't have to tickallthe boxes right away; the important thing is that you're willing to learn. We also value lived experience of the areas we support, so if you feel comfortable, please do mention this on your application.
Senior experience in facilities or operations management, ideally within charity, public, or notforprofit sector. Demonstrable experience managing procurement processes and contracts. Strong understanding of ISO standards and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 9001, 14001, 45001). Knowledge of Health and Safety and environmental regulations. Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills. Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
