Here at KDC, we require both F&DT and Stress Signatory to be a part of our engineering team based at our Bristol site.
The successful candidate will be used to supporting fixed price work packages whilst operating as an approval signatory, or as a checker with significant experience working towards signatory.
Support and input to the development of static or F&DT analysis task scoping and work breakdown structures to fulfil the customer requirements as fixed price tasking.
Highlight associated technical and commercial risks/assumptions against the scope.
Regular interaction with internal analysis team and customer technical points of contact to ensure that tasking is progressing using the agreed methods and processes.
Checking / approval of static or F&DT analysis work package deliverables; technical reports, dossiers, supporting analysis files, drawings etc to agreed budgets and timescales.
Where required perform analysis and associated documentation.
Liaising with KDC and customer design/systems teams to ensure integration and collaboration between stress, analysis, design and systems teams.
Significant relevant experience in aerospace or high integrity analysis roles
Extensive experience as a Stress or F&DT Engineer operating at a senior level within the aerospace industry and able to demonstrate knowledge of hands on capability of both conventional and customer specific methods.
Analysis and approval experience of both metallic and composite aircraft structure.
Established engineering capability and someone who can anticipate problems and plan to mitigate.
