The Regional Network Manager oversees multiple TPN Partners within a designated region, monitoring daily operations, budgets, and performance objectives. This role is crucial for ensuring first-class service delivery, recruiting potential partners, fostering depot relationships, and driving network growth. You will be the main point of contact, solving problems and being accountable on a day-to-day basis. To thrive in this role, you will need to be approachable and able to maintain strong relationships.
You will have up to circa 20 partners within your region, ensuring they are compliant with TPN operations and sustainable. With high accountability, the RNM maintains and enhances TPN’s reputation through proactive management, strategic planning, and effective communication. Success in this role requires commercial awareness and strong influencing and negotiating skills.
This is a regional role covering the South West region, with regular travel to Swadlincote.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00
Key Duties of a Regional Network Manager:
* Manage daily operational activities across TPN Partners for efficiency and effectiveness.
* Train partners on TPN procedures and oversee seamless onboarding.
* Maintain a pipeline of qualified potential partners for continuous growth.
* Implement improvements to uphold high service standards.
* Conduct regular reviews to ensure partners meet targets and receive support.
* Submit weekly reports to the Head of Network and maintain ongoing communication to protect and promote TPN’s interests.
* Establish and communicate performance goals aligned with Partner Agreement and TPN’s strategy.
* Develop and manage budgets to meet financial goals.
* Identify and recruit potential partners to expand the network.
* Build strong relationships with depot principles and operational teams.
Qualifications:
* Experience in identifying, recruiting, and onboarding partners, with proficiency in sales techniques such as cold calling to generate leads and secure meetings.
* Understanding of the pallet industry, including dynamics, competitors, and trends.
* Proven track record in logistics or transportation, managing and improving daily operations for efficiency and high service standards.
* Solid understanding of budgeting, financial planning, and cost management.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective reporting and stakeholder engagement.
* Experience in conducting reviews and driving continuous improvement.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently identify and address issues.
* Experience in providing training and support to ensure partners understand and adhere to company procedures.
* Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with partners, depot principles, and stakeholders.
* Ability to adapt to changing environments and requirements, maintaining flexibility while achieving goals.
