Responsibilities
* Routine and emergency appointments up to 16 patients per session
* Home visits to be shared equally after the first visit is allocated to on-call GP
* Lab reports to be actioned daily and shared between all doctors in the surgery that day
* Medicine management queries and medication reviews where possible
* Checking and sending referrals; written referrals go back to secretaries
* QAIF input during consultations as needed
* Signing of a fair share of prescriptions (may involve additional prescriptions during busy times/annual leave/sickness within the practice)
* You will be required to supervise medical students as part of a shared rota
* GP registrar hot reviews where needed (blocked time for this)
* You will be required to complete a small amount of practice medical reports, roughly 3 hours per month
