Administrative Assistant
We are looking for someone to support our busy Conveyancing Department and to carry out administrative tasks including:
* preparation of quotations
* opening files
* scanning documents
* diary management
* providing updates to third parties via telephone and email
* taking and chasing payments
* updating our case management system
* Post-completion and archiving work
* Other ad-hoc duties as necessary to support the firm.
The Person
* You should be able to communicate confidently at all levels including communicating effectively with other solicitors, estate agents, clients and colleagues with ease. A good telephone manner is essential.
* You should possess a helpful, approachable manner and the ability to multitask in a busy office environment while remaining calm under pressure. A strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential for the tasks required.
* You should be familiar with Microsoft packages including Outlook and Access, but have the ability to quickly adapt to other software as required (training will be given).
* Prior experience in Conveyancing is preferred but not essential.
Hours/Holiday
* Part-time, 21 hours per week. Ideally Monday, Wednesday & Friday but days/hours negotiable.
* Hours are 9.15am to 5pm (4.30pm finish on Fridays).
* 36 days annual leave per year Pro-Rata (inclusive of Bank Holidays and break over the Christmas period).
* Company pension with 4% employer contribution.
Salary from £13.73 per hour - annual salary at 21 hours per week £15,000.00
