* £31,248 to £42,456 depending on experience

What will you be doing?
* Interpret customer requirements and define design specifications
* Develop and validate pump designs for performance and durability
* Carry out tolerance analysis on assemblies
* Produce and maintain technical documentation and reports
* Create and modify 3D CAD models and engineering drawings
* Apply GD&T to ensure manufacturability and fit for purpose design
* Support prototype builds and testing activities
* Present design updates and solutions to internal stakeholders
Where will you be doing it?
* Established engineering and manufacturing site in Kendal
* Working within a collaborative detailed design team
* Supporting global customers in power generation and industrial sectors
* Mix of new product development and ongoing project work
What will you need?
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar; or equivalent experience
* Experience with rotating equipment or assemblies
* Understanding of engineering design processes
* Strong 3D CAD capability; SolidWorks preferred
* Experience producing technical drawings and specifications
* Knowledge of tolerancing and GD&T
* Good communication and stakeholder management skills
* Organised approach with ability to meet deadlines
