We are seeking a Technical Service Engineer to join our Customer Technical Services team, based at our Ellesmere Port facility. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support global technical service activities, delivering high‑quality engineering expertise and ensuring customers receive reliable, data‑driven solutions. Working as part of a specialist team, you will contribute to field projects, equipment deployment, and engineering development activities that support our worldwide operations. Please note that this position includes global and offshore travel. Key Responsibilities Support technical service projects worldwide, providing high‑quality trial data and analysis to inform business decisions. Conduct risk assessments, site surveys, field emissions testing, and additive performance testing in line with recognised industry methods. Install, commission, operate, maintain, and deliver training on additive injection systems. Ensure all equipment is maintained to the required standard and manage the equipment maintenance and deployment schedule. Contribute to engineering activities including design philosophy development, creation of engineering drawings, supplier identification, and project management. Perform material compatibility assessments within the laboratory environment. Requirements Bachelor of Engineering degree or equivalent qualification. Applicants with a recognised engineering apprenticeship and HNC/HND will also be considered. Strong interest in and ability to undertake global and offshore travel. Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise technical communication. Experience working within a chemical manufacturing environment.
