Main purpose of role
Themain purpose of the Security Operations Manager role is to managesecurity operations across Grosvenor Family Office and Family locations, ensuring strict confidentiality whileupholding the highest standards,proceduresandleadership.
Responsibilities
The Security Operations Manageris responsibleforthe successful management, maintenance anddeployment of security systems,equipment and personnel across Grosvenor Family Office.
1. Direct management of security operationsin linewith the securitystrategy
2. Conduct Team Leader reviews and Officer mentoring
3. Timely andPositive communication to the Head ofSecurity
4. Operational and departmental financialand budgetaryplanning andconsiderations,utilisingthe relevant financial systems
5. Stakeholdermanagementof suppliersand contractors
6. Contract managementand job sheet reviews/auditing
7. Responsible for thesecurity maintenancemanagementprogram
8. The management of alltechnicalsecurity systems,updatesandreplacements
9. Upholdingand monitoring ofdepartmentalHealth & Safety responsibilities
10. ManagingGDPRand data protectionconsiderations including individualand teamresponsibilities andcompliance
11. Planningand management of the department training requirements
12. Management of the security SharePoint, folders,SOP’sandPolicydocuments
13. Liaison with thelocal Cheshire police service and Rural police teams
14. To continuously develop and improve
15. To be flexible andadaptableto support the businessoperational needs
16. Tocomply withcompany policy and best practice in security, legal and regulatory compliance
17. To carry out duties, within the relevant legislationat all timesand be familiar with the terms of all current legislation relevant to the role
18. To complete any other rolespecificresponsibilitiesas highlighted by the Head of Security from time to time
Essential skills,attributesand values
19. Considerable experience and a proven track record working within an operational securityenvironment
20. Experiencein security management
21. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels
22. A positive and professional role modelwith strong values
23. Proactivemaintenance management experience in technical security systems and equipment
24. Must haveexceptional problem-solving skills
25. Experience inoperationally supportingemergency response plans
26. Good levelof knowledge in Microsoft applicationsincluding Outlook,PowerPointand Excel
