Job overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a catering team member. The role is part-time, 22.5 hours, mainly based at St Nicholas Hospital, Gosforth, with possible coverage at other sites (Walkergate Park Hospital and The Centre for Ageing & Vitality).
Working hours: Thursday 7am - 3pm, Friday 9.30am - 5.30pm
Main duties of the job
* Providing catering services to patients, staff, and visitors
* Food preparation and packing in a chilled environment
* Cooking food in a hospital ward environment
* Cleaning tasks, including washing pans, equipment, floors, etc., potentially using machinery
* Note: Successful candidates will also work in a freezer environment (~-22°C)
