Job Responsibilities
* Undertake regular waste management audits on all sites.
* Identify non‑compliance with legislation, Trust policy and best practice.
* Produce action plans to address identified deficiencies and monitor progress.
* Assist the facilities manager in managing waste and pest management, including cost‑saving programs such as a re‑use scheme.
* Research additional programs that the Trust could implement.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliant waste disposal and segregation.
* Help deliver waste training to the Trust.
* Assist in quarterly waste management group meetings with department leaders.
Person Specification
* Evidence of a good standard of written English appropriate to the role.
* A complete and accurate application.
* Suitability for the role evidenced in a supporting statement.
* Evidence of essential experience for the role.
* Meeting the essential education/qualifications required for the role.
* Evidence of the Trust values and behaviours.
* Evidence of any other essential criteria outlined in the person specification.
