Are you an experienced Support Worker ready to take the next step in your career? We are looking for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join a dedicated team supporting children and young people in a residential setting in Oxford.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in creating a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where young people can thrive.
The Role
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will:
Lead by example, providing high-quality care and support
Support children and young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours
Act as a key worker, contributing to care planning and reviews
Promote independence, emotional wellbeing, and positive outcomes
Support and guide junior staff members on shift
Ensure safeguarding procedures, policies, and records are maintained to a high standard
What We’re Looking For
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People or equivalent)
Proven experience working with vulnerable children and young people
Strong understanding of safeguarding and residential care standards
Confident, resilient, and able to lead shifts effectively
Flexible to work full-time hours, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
