Management Accountant
Glasgow City Centre
Salary up £50k (DOE)
Lusona Consultancy is delighted to be partnering with a highly successful Professional services organisation to recruit a Management Accountant to join their office in Glasgow City Centre. You will play a key role in supporting the financial performance of the business across a multi-site environment and will be responsible for 1 direct report. This position offers broad exposure across the finance function and the wider organisation and would be suited to a Part or newly qualified accountant looking to take their next step in their career.
Responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing monthly management accounts and financial statements
2. Managing budgeting and forecasting processes
3. Consolidated accounting across a multi-site environment
4. Handling accruals, prepayments, and maintaining accurate financial records
5. Producing insightful financial reports to support strategic decision-making
6. Supporting compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
7. Collaborating with operational teams to understand performance drivers
8. Providing analysis on financial trends and performance
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-driven finance professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring:
9. Strong experience preparing and analysing financial statements
10. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate data into meaningful insight
11. A proactive approach, strong organisation, and attention to detail
12. Advanced Excel and competency with accounting systems
13. Professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA) or working towards this (preferred)
