We are seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join a growing engineering team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer who enjoys working on complex ground engineering challenges and contributing to a wide range of development projects in Manchester.
As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will lead geotechnical assessments, oversee ground investigations, and be responsible for producing and signing off technical reports. Experience in temporary works is highly desirable, along with the ability to develop practical and efficient engineering solutions. The successful Senior Geotechnical Engineer will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
The ideal Senior Geotechnical Engineer will be chartered (ICE or equivalent) or working towards chartership, with proven experience in report sign-off and design responsibility. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will liaise with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders, as well as support and mentor junior team members.
