As a Retail Continuous Improvement Assistant, you’ll support the delivery of key projects designed to improve operational efficiency across our store network. Working closely with the Continuous Improvement Team Leader, you’ll play a hands-on role in identifying and implementing process improvements, supporting workshops and training, and tracking performance to ensure initiatives deliver measurable benefits.
From analysing data and developing standard operating procedures to coordinating project activity and supporting stakeholder engagement, this role is central to driving a culture of continuous improvement within the retail function.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in identifying and supporting process improvement opportunities across store operations
* Help implement Lean, Six Sigma and other continuous improvement methodologies
* Support with documenting and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs)
* Collect, analyse and interpret data to identify performance trends and areas for improvement
* Track and report progress on improvement initiatives, producing clear reports and presentations
* Support project planning and coordination, helping manage timelines, milestones and outcomes
* Assist with the delivery of workshops and training to embed a culture of continuous improvement
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to support improvement initiatives and gain insights
* Provide administrative support including meeting coordination and maintaining project documentation
About You
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide actionable insights from data
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Confident communicator, able to present findings and ideas clearly
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
* Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma or similar methodologies (desirable)
* High levels of accuracy and diligence in reporting and documentation
* A proactive, collaborative approach to problem-solving
* Degree in Business, Operations Management or related field (desirable)
