We are recruiting for a knowledgeable Health and Safety / Fire Consultant with good access to the Central Belt of Scotland. Experience / Qualifications
* Must have a successful record working as a Health and Safety / Fire Consultant within a well‑established consultancy
* Will hold industry‑related qualifications such as: NEBOSH General, NEBOSH Fire, Fire Risk Diploma
* It would be beneficial to have industry memberships / qualifications, such as: IOSH, CMIOSH and / or IFE
* Excellent technical knowledge
* Comfortable discussing technical matters directly with clients
* Able to prioritise workload
* Good written and IT skills
The Role
* Undertaking thorough health and safety and fire risk assessments across a mix of commercial, manufacturing, domestic and public sector client sites
* Creating bespoke reports for clients
* Meeting clients on site to discuss findings and make technical recommendations
* Reviewing current safety plans and making required amendments
* Ensuring to keep up-to-date with any industry / compliance updates
* Conducting accident investigations
* Liaising with contractors and third party authorities
* Attending client sites to discuss requirements and provide updates
* Delivering training sessions to clients and internal staff
