We're working on behalf of a brilliant special school that is looking for a KS1 SEND Teacher to join the team from September on a long-term basis. The school cares for a wide range of special needs & disabilities, including SLD, MLD, PMLD, ASD & Complex Needs.

The role
This vacancy is within a semi-formal class of 10 students in Lower KS2, supported by a team of 3 TAs. One of these TAs is actually a placement from our agency! She praises the class for its supportive environment and lovely students.
Due to the needs of the students, it is essential that you have some experience working with SEND, whether in a special school or mainstream setting. The most important qualities are being patient, positive, enthusiastic, proactive, and hardworking.
