About the Role:
As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the learning, development, and well-being of children in an Early Years setting based in Kettering. Working closely with teachers and other staff, you will help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting the teacher in delivering engaging and creative activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Assisting with the social and emotional development of children, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Helping to set up and maintain a safe, clean, and inviting classroom space.
* Observing and recording children's progress, contributing to assessments and planning.
* Supporting children with additional needs, where required.
* Engaging with parents and carers to build strong, supportive relationships.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.
* A recognised childcare or teaching assistant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ, or equivalent).
* A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach.
* A strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
