Overview We are currently representing a very prestigious precision engineering organisation, specialising within the motorsport industry in their search for for a skilled CNC Machinist based around Bognor regis. The role involves working on high-precision projects, focusing on CNC milling, 5-axis machining, and advanced materials such as carbon fiber. The position offers an hourly rate of £18-£22, 20 days annual leave, and overtime paid at 1.5x the standard rate. Responsibilities * Set up and operate CNC milling machines for high-precision component production. * Program, edit, and optimize machining processes using Heidenhain controls. * Work with advanced materials like carbon fiber to create components for industries such as motorsport. * Perform quality checks to ensure components meet strict specifications and tolerances. * Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and optimize machining processes. * Use Visi machining CAM software for offline programming. * Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
