We are currently working with a well-known membership organisation, based in central London, that is looking to engage a Clinical Negligence Lawyer on a 6 month FTC. The role can be part time or full time, for 3-5 days per week, and operates on a hybrid basis, with 2 days a week in their London office.
The main purpose of the role is to investigate and assist in non-litigated and litigated claims, with a varied workload which includes providing advice, preparing cases and representing members in the defence of clinical negligence cases at all stages.
Successful individuals are likely to:
* Have at least upwards of 2 years' experience in handling a full clinical negligence caseload, acting for the Claimant or Defendant
* Possess experience in the day to day management of claims including litigated matters
* Hold experience in managing their own case load
* Have the ability to learn quickly, and apply said learning to be able to work at pace and meet tight deadlines
* Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
The successful individual can expect to join a small, supportive, and collegiate legal team. The role does not have any billing or time recording targets, so the focus is very much on the running of the cases, and doing the best for their members.
The role is to start ASAP; therefore, Lawyers are likely to be available immediately or at short notice.
