£30,000 - £32,000 per annum

The Role
As a Fibre Installation Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality full-fibre network builds. Working on both new and existing networks, you'll install, splice, test and maintain fibre infrastructure, ensuring customers receive a first-class installation experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Installing optical fibre cables into distribution points, fibre enclosures, and patch panels on both new and existing networks
Splicing and testing internal and external fibre connections to customer premises using Fusion Splicer, OTDR, and ILM tools — delivering work to the highest standard
Diagnosing and fixing faults on live networks quickly and effectively
Updating as-built documentation and reporting completed works accurately
Responding to emergency faults as part of a rota-based 24/7 call-out team
Working both independently and as part of a high-performing team to smash targets and KPIs
Always putting safety first and following Health & Safety best practices
What We're Looking For
Full UK driving licence (held for at least 12 months)
Valid NRSWA Street Works Operative card
Experience interpreting and updating schematics, duct diagrams, and as-builts
Proven expertise in fusion splicing and OTDR testing on fibre networks
Comfortable working at heights and within underground network environments
Excellent communicator and strong team player
A proactive, safety-first mindset with a real passion for doing the job right
BT PIA and WPD OH35 accreditations are an advantage but not essential
