Our Business Development Managers drive growth for Leyton UK by prospecting, engaging, and converting new clients to consult on their Tax Incentive & Innovation Tax claims with HMRC.
1. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan aligned with company goals.
2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach.
3. Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders, including CFOs and tax directors.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs and deliver services effectively.
5. Manage the sales pipeline, track leads, and document activities in the CRM system.
6. Lead client presentations and proposals, communicating the value of our services.
7. Attend industry events to network and stay updated on trends.
8. Monitor market trends and provide feedback for strategic decisions.
9. Coordinate with marketing to develop campaigns that generate leads and revenue.
10. Achieve sales targets and report on progress and forecasts.
Qualifications

* Sales Skills: Proven success in sales and business development, including lead generation, prospecting, negotiation, and closing deals.
* Communication Skills: Ability to convey complex concepts clearly and compellingly.
* Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals, analyze market trends, and make data-driven decisions.
* Relationship Building: Capable of establishing trust and credibility with clients and stakeholders at various levels.
* Relevant Experience: Prior experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in R&D tax consulting or related fields.
