The Role:
We are looking to recruit therapists to work within our Family Safeguarding Mental Health Team.
You will be responsible for delivering psychological and/or systemic interventions with parents and carers within Walsall, both on a 1-2-1 basis and within groups.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with adults with significant and complex needs, focusing on engaging with parents regarding their mental health and well-being while coordinating with the wider social care system involved with the family.
* Provide clinical services including assessment, formulation, and time-limited evidence-based interventions within the Family Safeguarding Mental Health Team.
* Identify the most suitable mental health/psychological interventions for individuals to develop tailored interventions for parents based on their mental health needs, informed by professional knowledge and practice skills related to therapeutic models (such as trauma-informed CBT, DBT, EMDR, functional therapy, systemic family therapy).
We seek candidates with relevant experience and qualifications in delivering therapeutic interventions across various specialisms, including but not limited to trauma-informed CBT, DBT, EMDR, functional family therapy, and systemic family therapy.
Driving is essential for this role.
