Funds Paralegal – Top-Tier International Law Firm (London)
An elite international law firm is seeking a Funds Paralegal to join its highly regarded team in London. This is a rare opportunity to gain hands-on experience in complex, cross-border investment fund matters while working closely with high-profile clients in the financial services sector.
This role will be offered as an initial 12 month FTC.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
* Draft and process amendments to fund agreements and related legal documents
* Review and manage subscription agreements and investor data
* Maintain trackers and checklists to monitor investor activity and deadlines
* Prepare closing sets and assist in legal opinion processes
* Handle daily client correspondence and document flow
* Perform legal research and market/company analysis
* Work with Excel to calculate investment amounts and manage numerical data
* Proofread and quality-check legal documentation
🔹 Requirements:
* Minimum 1 year of funds experience within a law firm
* Degree-qualified (2:1 or above or equivalent); GDL required if degree is non-legal
* Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and a proactive mindset
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* Ability to handle high email volumes and multitask effectively
* Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Team-oriented with a willingness to support on both administrative and complex tasks
