Location and Schedule
* Location: Birmingham
* Shift: 4 on 4 off days and nights
* Salary: £54,000 + Pension + Overtime
* Alternate: Days 7am-3.30pm; Salary: £41,706 + Pension + Over time

Qualifications
* Apprentice Trained Electrical Engineer with Multi Skilling
* Knowledge of PLC Controlled Manufacturing Systems
* Experience of High-Speed Production Machinery
Responsibilities
* Carry out routine checks around the mill, liaise with production team leader and operators and report back an issue.
* Overhaul and repair equipment.
* Isolation procedures.
* Experience of drives, inverters.
* Experience of 3 phase control systems.
* PLC fault finding.
* Develop and understanding of the paper making process.
* Carry out maintenance on equipment during non-planned and planned shutdowns.
* Undertake project work – modifications.
* Be actively involved with handover.
* During maintenance breakdowns or stoppages, assist maintenance and productions towards getting plant machinery back into operation.
* Cover breakdowns on first response.
* Provide cover of fellow shift technicians.
* Ensure Health and Safety policies are met.
* Report all accidents.
