Job purpose
To provide administrative and coordination support to the Business Development team, ensuring smooth delivery of sales campaigns, accurate record-keeping, and high-quality data management. The role focuses on supporting day-to-day operations rather than leading on sales activity. This is a development role with an expectation that the successful candidate will progress in a sales capacity.
Key responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
* Provide administrative support to the Business Development team, helping them deliver annual sales and membership objectives.
* Assist with the preparation and scheduling of sales and membership campaigns, ensuring all documentation, call lists, and materials are organised and up to date.
* Carry out routine outbound calls to update member information, follow up on enquiries, and support team campaigns following clear guidance and scripts.
* Maintain and update the CRM system, ensuring all member and customer data is accurate, complete, and properly recorded.
* Support the collection and organisation of campaign data, helping compile reports and summaries for the Business Development Director.
* Handle general administrative tasks, including raising invoices, collecting artwork for adverts, updating spreadsheets, and filing documents.
* Assist with the timely preparation of management information, ensuring data is collated and presented accurately.
* Maintain accurate revenue and activity records, updating logs and trackers as directed.
* Support the team in gathering customer feedback, contributing information from calls and interactions to internal reports.
* Develop a good understanding of Pensions UK membership structure, products, and services in order to support enquiries and internal processes.
* Liaise with internal teams regarding customer questions, campaign materials, and data requirements.
* Undertake any other reasonable duties requested by the Business Development Manager or Director.
* Development opportunity Over time, and once the core administrative responsibilities are well established, there will be opportunities to support basic account management tasks and progress into a more sales focussed role.
