About the role
To perform production related tasks required in daily operations within one of the manufacturing business areas.
Candidate assessment
Candidates invited to an assessed interview will need to complete an eye test (for colour blindness), a basic skills test with instructions on the day, and an interview.
Tasks may include
* soldering and inspection to ANSI-J STD/IPC610
* mechanical and wiring assembly IPC620
* kit preparation
* bonding and coating.
* testing of assemblies and sub-assemblies using Automated Test Equipment
* some basic point to point wiring checks
Skills and Experience
* Minimum of two standard grades at C/3 pass or above, or previous electronics or mechanical assembly experience
* Good manual dexterity
* Basic PC skills
* Quality focused, as we have a high emphasis on the importance of quality to the customer
* Able to work both independently and as part of a team
* Willing and able to travel to alternative site to your home site if required
Desirable
* Previous electronics and mechanical assembly experience
* Good communication skills
* Organisational skills
