Working hours: This is a day role, Mon-Fri, supporting the customer and automation maintenance team at a new customer site based in Aylesford, Kent.
What to Expect
The Role
The Maintenance Supervisor will report to the Customer Account Manager, liaise with the customer's operational and engineering teams, and will be responsible for:
1. Ensuring the automation delivers the operational plan daily.
2. Ensuring Planned Preventative Maintenance is completed in line with the Computerised Maintenance System.
3. Managing reactive tasks efficiently and promptly.
4. Capturing all relevant information on the Computerised Maintenance System, including booking spares, time, and machine and fault data.
5. Identifying future projects and enhancements to improve throughput, capacity, and reduce downtime.
6. Developing good standard reporting and collaborating with the customer.
7. Ensuring all shifts are adequately covered.
8. Developing the team to enhance skills and competencies.
9. Maintaining high standards of housekeeping in all automated areas.
10. Adhering to all health and safety requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
The successful Maintenance Supervisor will have:
* ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification
* Proven experience in Engineering and Maintenance
* Effective time management skills
* Strong problem-solving abilities
* Good customer relations skills
* Ability to manage a team effectively
