Job Purpose
We are seeking anAssistant Category Manager to join our dynamic team, partnering closely with our Marketing function to drive optimum commercial outcomes and contribute directly to Burberry's P and L. This role offers the opportunity to work on strategic projects and day:to:day activities across Marketing categories, collaborating with stakeholders in London, Leeds, and internationally.
Responsibilities
:Support category management and procurement processes to elevate our global capability.
:Execute sourcing events, supplier onboarding, and contract management with precision and integrity.
:Deliver data:driven insights through spend analysis and category planning.
:Collaborate with Legal and internal teams to ensure robust supplier relationships and quality contracts.
:Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, lifting procurement activities to best:in:class standards.
Personal Profile
:3:5 years' experience in commercial procurement or strategic sourcing.
:A confident communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills.
:Analytical, detail:oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities.
:Comfortable navigating a fast:paced, evolving environment with a positive, proactive approach.
:Skilled in Excel, reporting, and presenting insights that drive decisions.
