Teaching Personnel are proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive Catholic primary school in Seaforth, Liverpool, to recruit an experienced and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a full-time position commencing in September 2026.

The successful candidate will play a key role within the school, supporting teaching and learning across the primary age range while also providing targeted support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The school is seeking a confident, adaptable, and nurturing HLTA who is passionate about making a positive difference to children’s educational journeys.
The Role:
* Supporting class teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
* Leading small group interventions and occasional whole-class sessions
* Providing tailored support for pupils with additional needs, including SEND
* Assisting with the planning and preparation of learning activities
* Promoting a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment
* Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents/carers
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
* Previous experience working within a primary school setting
* A strong understanding of SEND and inclusive practice
* Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
* A proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach
* A commitment to supporting the ethos and values of a Catholic school
