Banana Moon Day Nursery Barnstaple is seeking a dedicated and passionate Room Leader to join our dynamic team As a Room Leader, you will be instrumental in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for our children, ensuring they thrive both emotionally and intellectually.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a designated room, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
* Work collaboratively with your team to plan and implement engaging learning activities that cater to individual children's needs, interests, and developmental stages.
* Observe and assess children's progress, and maintain accurate records to provide feedback to parents and support their child's development.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, ensuring effective communication and support.
* Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children within your care, adhering to all nursery policies and procedures at all times.
* Provide guidance and support to junior staff members, fostering a positive and team-oriented atmosphere.
* Contribute to the overall success and reputation of the nursery by promoting a welcoming and friendly environment.
Requirements
* Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
* Proven experience working with children in a nursery setting.
* Excellent understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
* Passionate about providing high-quality care and learning for children.
* A commitment to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare.
