We are currently recruiting for a Casual Conference & Banqueting Assistant at Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels.

About the Role
* The role of a Conference & Banqueting Assistant involves supporting the operations within this service area to Hand Picked Hotels standards, ensuring high standards of presentation are always maintained.
* Responsible for the set‑up and take‑down of equipment (tables, chairs, props, decorations), ensuring timely delivery and ability to carry and move heavy items.
* Expected to hold a good level of knowledge regarding food menu items and availability across all areas including the bar and restaurant.
* Work towards the achievement of departmental goals, contribute ideas and be open to trying new ways of working. Take personal ownership, operating within role parameters.
* Communicate and delegate in line with business levels and daily functions and events.
* Be inspired, have fun and enjoy being part of the Hand Picked Team.
About you
* Passionate about delivering a high level of service and attention to detail.
* Enthusiastic and willing to take on new responsibilities, adopting a flexible approach to assist in different areas of the hotel as business and guest needs dictate.
* High level of emotional intelligence, able to anticipate guest needs ensuring they receive a Hand Picked experience.
* Can demonstrate how you would deliver our guest experience standards at Hand Picked Hotels, going above and beyond to ensure guests have a high‑quality, personalised, and magical experience that they remember, recommend, and return to time and time again.
