We’re after a confident M365 & Azure Technical Lead to shape strategy, modernise services, and strengthen in-house capability – all without people management duties.
You’ll lead technical delivery, guide improvements, and coach the Service Desk to take on daily cloud operations.
What you’ll do
* Lead Azure & M365 design, delivery, and ongoing improvement
* Support strategy: automation, governance, cost control, architecture
* Help build infra to support data platforms (big push into Fabric)
* Mentor the Service Desk on monitoring and operations
* Manage and secure Azure: Backup Vault, Key Vault, RBAC, PIM, policies
* Work across IaaS, Intune, infra modernisation, networking, and security
* Reduce reliance on third-party support
* Thrive in a fast-moving, complex environment
What you’ll bring
* Solid Azure & M365 know‑how (IaaS/PaaS, identity, networking, governance)
* Hands‑on with RBAC, Backup Vault, PIM, policy compliance
* Intune and cloud infra experience
* A knack for mentoring – no need to manage people
* Ability to design and improve cloud operations
* Comfortable in a high‑energy, tech‑heavy setup
