Job Title: Care Assistant Days
Salary: £13.31ph / £12.31ph for 18‑21 year olds
Hours: Part Time or Full Time Permanent Contract (7.30am‑7.30pm, 2‑4 days a week to include alternate weekends)

About Avenue House Nursing and Care Home
Avenue House is located just outside Rushden. The home provides personal, nursing and dementia care for 48 residents, with modern Regency‑style accommodation designed to be homely and supportive.
Role Responsibilities as a Care Assistant
* Provide high‑quality personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating.
* Promote residents’ independence, choice, dignity and respect, with a focus on physical and emotional wellbeing.
* Complete all Daily Charts to a high standard, ensuring a 90%+ score during monthly audits.
* Maintain 100% up‑to‑date mandatory training throughout the year.
Role Requirements as a Care Assistant
* Clear motivations and/or relevant experience.
* Residence within 20 minutes of the care home.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* A caring and nurturing attitude.
* A positive and enthusiastic mindset.
* Time‑management and organisational skills.
