Housekeeping Assistant
Lancashire
£11.44 per hour (Enhanced Pay at Weekends)
Working 5 days over 7, including weekends, from 7am to 3pm

Our centres and hospitals use expert neurorehabilitation to help individuals regain lost skills, treating a range of brain injuries caused by trauma, illness, substance abuse, and more. Purpose
To maintain the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the service, including laundry duties.
Key Relationships
This role carries no line management responsibilities but involves working alongside and supporting volunteers.
Qualifications required
No formal qualifications necessary.
Experience, Skills, and Abilities
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to follow policies, procedures, and behavioural frameworks
* Understanding of COSHH and Health & Safety Regulations
Complexity and Accountability
No budget responsibilities but expected to manage costs within limits. Responsible for understanding personal health and safety responsibilities and COSHH requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Clean all areas as per schedules; manage laundry following supervisor guidance
* Ensure safety of all users, staff, volunteers, and visitors
* Store and use chemicals and equipment safely, adhering to COSHH and safety standards
* Operate various cleaning equipment, report repairs or replenishments
* Record required information accurately
* Maintain compliance with national and local cleaning standards
* Support the safe operation of the service, uphold confidentiality, and undertake additional reasonable tasks
