Overview
We are looking for an IT Trackside Commercial Integration Lead to join our growing IT team at our state-of-the-art campus in Silverstone. This role will deliver robust, high-performance IT and integrated AV support to Hospitality Areas during race events and partner operations, while ensuring content delivery and management of all audio solutions are seamless at every event.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide dedicated IT and AV support for the Commercial and Partner Operations teams trackside, ensuring uninterrupted delivery of digital content, presentations, and branding materials.
* Work with the IT Trackside team to maintain stable connectivity of all AV solutions and provide support as needed.
* Manage and maintain content delivery systems, including digital signage, large-format displays, and IPTV infrastructure powered by VITEC.
* Ensure trackside AV teams have everything needed from event to event to deliver live and scheduled video streams, delivering high-quality, on-brand content across all hospitality areas.
* Act as the primary point of contact for management and escalations for all technical issues and troubleshooting at all trackside events.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure content and systems are online and updated prior to guest arrival at events.
* Support setup and operation of AV systems in hospitality suites, garage environments, and partner areas, including LED walls, PA systems, and display calibration.
* Ensure commercial IT services (Wi-Fi, media servers, workstations, network endpoints) meet performance and security standards.
* Document all AV and IT systems setup, connectivity diagrams, issue logs, and partner-specific configurations.
* Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and event organizers to ensure integration and compliance with on-site technical infrastructure.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Previous experience as an IT/AV Engineer or Broadcast Technician in a Formula One / high-level Motorsport / live event / commercial activation environment.
* Good working knowledge of networking and common desktop and server platforms.
* Excellent working knowledge of content delivery platforms and AV-over-IP systems, especially VITEC (EZ TV platform).
* Thorough understanding of digital signage solutions, display management, and live streaming within commercial and hospitality environments.
* Good working knowledge of AV signal chains, video encoding, IP multicast/unicast, and HDMI/SDI hardware integration.
