Responsibilities:
1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the Finance office reporting directly to the Financial Director.
2. Maintain accurate accounting records and prepare financial reports for the Group.
3. Regularly review the Balance Sheet, perform reconciliations of all controlled accounts, and ensure all balances are explained.
4. Drive accountability for controls across relevant departments to enable Finance to act as reviewer and advisor on best practices.
5. Handle all financial queries from internal and external parties.
6. Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions.
7. Oversee and review daily/weekly income audits.
8. Oversee and review weekly bank account reconciliations.
9. Prepare and file VAT returns as required.
10. Assist in preparing annual budgets, monthly, and weekly forecasts.
11. Ensure reporting includes benchmarking, and the identification and measurement of key performance indicators.
Requirements:
1. Ambitious, confident, and professional individual with strong communication, organizational, analytical, and people management skills.
2. Accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality or food and beverage industry.
3. Qualified or part-qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA).
4. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, with strong internal control awareness.
5. Demonstrates initiative.
