Experience
Essential criteria
1. Minimum of two years’ experience within cardiology
2. Experience with educating cardiac patients
3. Teaching, educating and supporting staff
4. The ability to adapt with change
5. Working with multi-disciplinary groups and establishing relationships across Trust and primary care/community
6. Evidence of continuing professional development
Desirable criteria
7. Coronary Care experience
8. Experience of using audit to improve patient care
9. Presentation skills.
Qualifications
Essential criteria
10. Professional registration with relevant professional body
11. 1st level degree or working towards
12. 5 years post registration experience
Desirable criteria
13. An understanding of the changing NHS environment
14. Non-medical prescribing
15. Advanced history taking and physical assessment course
16. Relevant BACPR Cardiac specialist course or undertake within 12 months
Technical Skills
Essential criteria
17. Keyboard skills
18. High level of communication skills, written and verbal
