Summary We are seeking a Receptionist and Behaviour Administrator to provide a full receptionist service to the Academy Office and manage the administrative organisation of the behaviour module within our MIS.

Main Areas of Responsibility Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering a professional reception service for visitors, staff and pupils
Communicating with parents, carers and external bodies
Managing telephone calls, enquiries and visitors at the Front Office
Ensuring visitors comply with safeguarding procedures
Handling correspondence and emails
Supporting attendance processes and updating BromCom
Completing administrative tasks using Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Filing student records and processing school forms
Assisting with photocopying and reprographics
Acting as a First Aider (training provided)
Providing hospitality and escorting visitors
Supporting the Principal and Principals PA with daily office operations
Recording and monitoring behaviour data accurately
Communicating with staff, parents and governors to implement policy
Analysing reports and Academy Support Plans
Training clerical staff when required
Producing half-termly behaviour analysis reports
Maintaining behaviour records and liaising with colleagues and agencies
Preparing reports for senior management
Coordinating detention and IER data and analysing trends
Ensuring compliance with statutory reporting requirements

Qualifications & Experience We would like to hear from you if you have:
Qualifications to GCSE level or equivalent
Competence in the use of Microsoft Office packages
Proficiency in the use of computers and databases
Previous experience in an administrative or front office/reception role
Demonstrable customer service experience
Good level of interpersonal and communication skills, with a good standard of written and spoken English
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks appropriately
Commitment to delivering excellent level of professional customer service
Ability to remain calm and deal with challenging callers or visitors in an appropriate manner
High level of attention to detail and accuracy of work
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to be resourceful and proactive, in particular where unexpected issues arise
Ability to work effectively with people across a wide range of levels and responsibilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality; having tact and diplomacy where necessary
