About the role
We’re looking for a Financial Analyst within our Planning & Reporting team at Tesco Bank, part of Barclays Bank UK Plc.

* This role is key to maintaining the models on which the Bank’s reports are built, making your contribution impactful.

Team structure and stakeholders
You’ll work alongside a Planning & Reporting Manager, reporting to our Senior Planning & Reporting Manager. Our team’s outputs inform financial decisions at Tesco Bank and Barclays, involving senior stakeholders.
Systems and technology
Experience with Hyperion Planning & Budgeting is essential. Familiarity with Financial Services, especially Banking, is advantageous.
Key responsibilities
* Support the production of management reports, building data models, reports, and ad-hoc queries.
* Collaborate across finance teams to ensure compliance with reporting cycles.
* Build strong relationships through timely and accurate outputs.
* Develop into a SME for Planning & Reporting processes.
* Identify and implement process improvements.
* Respond to ad hoc requests in a fast-paced environment.
Candidate requirements
* Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; Hyperion/ePBCS experience preferred.
* Proactive, structured, and responsible approach.
* Excellent communication skills.
Bonus points for being a qualified or part-qualified accountant, and experience in Financial Services, particularly Banking.
