Our SEQOHS-accredited service plays a key role in promoting the health, safety, and wellbeing of colleagues across the organisation. You will support development and learning within the clinical team and work with the Lead Clinical Nurse Specialist to maintain a strong focus on quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
As part of the OH team, you will provide specialist advice on core occupational health functions and statutory requirements. We welcome innovation, and you will help shape the future direction of the service, contributing ideas that support the Trust's workforce wellbeing strategy.

You will provide visible professional leadership, advice, support, and guidance to others within the team who have less experience and the wider multidisciplinary team, acting as a role model for best practice and maintaining compliance with OH law. Supporting the Occupational Health management team to lead, and develop a full Occupational Health service to the Trust and external clients is central to this role.
You should have an ability to apply your specialist knowledge in key areas of case management, health surveillance, governance, contributing to meeting the strategic and operational objectives for the department.
Engaging and consulting with managers and staff to educate, facilitate and improve the management of employee health and wellbeing will be core functions. You will have ownership and management of a clinical case load providing clear decisions and opinions regarding case outcomes and referring to our in-house OHP as appropriate.
With a mind-set of continual improvement you will seek and respond to customer feedback, escalate any accolades or complaints appropriately, and contribute to the improvement of processes and service delivery in response to customer feedback.
